One of the most common questions we get asked on a daily basis by customers in the market for new granite worktops is “How do I measure up my worktops to receive a quote for new kitchen worktops?”.
The measuring process is essential so we can give you the most accurate price based on the sizes you provide. If you could give us the measurements in centimetres rather than inches, this will also help our sales team give you a more accurate quote and get back to you sooner as they won’t need to try and convert inches to centimetres. If not, don’t worry we are happy to convert inches to centimetres for you.
You will need a tape measure, pen and paper to write your measurements down.
All we need is the length and width of your worktop pieces. If you use your tape measure to find out the length and width of each piece your require, that should be enough for a quote. Try and make sure you don’t overlap the corners. Our sales team will always give you a follow up call to give you an accurate prices based on additional features like up-stands, splash backs and window sills.
If you need any additional help measuring your worktops, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01274 377600 and a member of our team will be happy to help.
Top Tip – If you have L-shaped or U-shaped worktops, make sure that you don’t overlap in the corner when measuring as this will cause your quotation to be more expensive and inaccurate.
